Glen Garioch 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (1000ml)

Presently owned by Suntory, Glen Garioch is producing lightly peated East Highland malt of various ages. The distillery is located just outside the centre of Meldrum, Aberdeenshire, in Scotland's far east Highlands and takes its name from the Garioch Valley which provides shelter ideal for agriculture, and in particular the production of high-quality barley. This is the newly packaged, high ABV and non chill filtered upgrade on the previous 43% bottling. Matured in a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Other reviews... The nose yields Jaffa orange, plums, sherry, malt, and vanilla. Ginger, honey, more orange, dried fruit, and toasted oak on the full palate.
