Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Perpetual Collection Vat 04 Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The final in the series, and arguably the most desirable, bottled at a high ABV with zero chill filtration.

A mid 2022 Travel Retail Exclusive from Glenfiddich that's aged in Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks for eighteen years. It's also a part of the new Perpetual Collection of four malts that are in "perpetual motion". As a statement from the distillery explains, "...each successive vat fill is like a new generation of whisky building on the past, increasing in character, dimension and complexity". Called the Solera Vat process, Glenfiddich lays claim to pioneering the technique which adds continuous layers of flavour by only ever bottling half the whisky in the vats before refilling. Of the four bottlings in the series, No's 3 and 4 are the most desirable, being bottled at a higher ABV than is usual for Glenfiddich, and with zero chill filtration.
