Tasted from a small sample, this re-vamped version of Evolution presents with sultry scents of beeswax, pineapple pudding and fruit’n’nut chocolate. Rounded and poised with a chocolaty edge to the malt, following through to a juicy, textural finish featuring tangy tropical fruits and a spicy burst that fans out in the mouth, it's a malt with a fine sweet-dry balance marking a step up from it's cask strength predecessor. Delicious. Matured in x Tennessee whiskey barrels. 50% Alc./Vol.

This is the second edition of Evolution, first released in 2013, and the ABV has been reduced from 57.2% to 50%. Like the first, it was matured in first-fill Tennessee whiskey barrels. The nose gives vanilla, ginger, honey, tropical fruits, and milk chocolate, plus a floral note. More vanilla, milky coffee, oak, honey, toffee, and pineapple on the oily palate.
