Gordon & Macphail Distillery Labels Linkwood 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

This is not the first time that G&M have offered a Linkwood to Australia under their new "Distillery Labels" series. However, it is the first time it's landed at a more generous 46% as opposed to 43%. A big age statement together with some high quality sherry casks means this should be a very tasty dram indeed!

Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Rich sherry aromas accompany subtle aniseed and cherries. Taste: Sweet, smooth fruitcake evolves into stewed fruit and toasted hazelnuts. Finish: A long finish of lingering charred oak.
