Highland Nectar Scotch Whisky Liqueur (500ml)

Since the demise of Lochanora and Glenfiddich's semi-mythical whisky liqueur, the Scotch Whisky Liqueur category has remained relatively limited. Elixir Distillers (the operation behind brands like Elements of Islay and Black Tot) are filling the void with Highland Nectar. Like its predecessors, it's Highland whisky with an array of herbs, spices and fruits and sugar, including bitter orange, star anise, vanilla, lemon oil, ginger and cinnamon. Intended to be delicious on its own, it will also work in Festive cocktails. Expect notes of boiled sweets, orange peel, garden herbs, ground allspice, crystallised ginger, star anise and maple syrup, leaving cinnamon, mulled chai cider and clove lingering in the finish. 35% Alc./Vol.
