Hugues Godme Grands Jardins Le Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature Champagne

Made from 100% Pinot Noir with 3 years on lees. A fine satiny mousse melts into a straw coloured base with gold tinged edges, the bead fine and persistent. Pear and dried apple scents mingle with brioche, yeast lees, ginger and oily toast like notes. Vivid flavours of dried pear, citrus and baked bread carry a tense, tightly knit feel with subtle oily toast and yeast lees characters lingering underneath. Finishes very dry with sculptured acidity and a chalk tinged aftertaste.
