Karl Faberge is acknowledged as one of the greatest jewelers of the 19th and 20th centuries, and his Easter eggs have been the jewelry symbol of Russia throughout the world. Even during his lifetime, many monarchist dynasties of Europe bought his works. 'Imperial Collection' vodka is sold in decorative bottles, in gift packaging, and in the form of Easter eggs, in classic Faberge style.

The vodka itself is made from highest quality, quadrupled-distilled grain spirit and the best water - water from the Ladoga Lake, remarkable for its softness. In Russia, Vodka originated in the south, in a zone with a favorable mild climate, far from industry, where the best types of wheat grow. It is believed that 'grain wine' (an alternate name for vodka) appeared and was actively produced for the first time in grain-producing regions, i.e., in the territory of the present Rostov Kursk, Oryol, Tambovo, Voronezh, and Saratov regions. Wheat has historically been cultivated in these territories. Today, experts select grain with high starch content and outstanding organoleptic characteristics. The 'Saratov' type of wheat, for example, which is used in the production of alcohol for 'Imperial Collection' vodka, meets these standards. Wheat is sent from the south of the country to the west, to the ancient Russian city of Smolensk, where the merchant P.A. Machulsky established an alcohol plant in 1871. The plant has always been famous for its high-quality production and has earned numerous prizes and awards at competitions and exhibitions.

Vodka Imperial Collection was presented on official reception on the day of Inauguration of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The vodka was awarded with gold medal in International Contest as a Best product of year 2004 at the International Exhibition PROD-EXPO 2004.

Tasting notes: Clear. Mild, citrus peel, slight creamy vanilla, sweet meringue aromas. A round entry leads to a smooth glycerous, medium-bodied palate with sweetened condensed milk, wet slate, and powdered sugar flavors. Finishes with a creamy, peppery fade. A very smooth Russian style vodka that will go brilliantly with seafood. 40% Alc./Vol.
International Review of Spirits Award: Gold Medal
