Ki No Bi Tea Kyoto Dry Gin (700ml) - White Box

Created as a collaboration with tea-grower and blender, Hori-Shichimeien, whose estate was founded in 1879, based in the famous Uji region to the south of Kyoto city. A number of super-premium Uji teas have been specially selected to form the heart of the gin. Tencha and Gyokuro provide intense aromas and depth of flavour with a wonderful sweetness. Leaves harvested in the Okunoyama tea yard dating back to 1300’s are also used, carefully blended with a secret botanical recipe.

Tasting note: Fruity and creamy aromas evoke mango yogurt, kumquat jam and hints of elderflower(?). Drier than the nose suggests with exotic plantain and mango lassi flavours. White pepper and juniper led finish. Ends clean and crisp. Delicious one-of-a-kind gin that delights on its own. 45.1% Alc./Vol.
