Kill Devil Single Cask Guatemala 9 Year Old Rum (700ml)

Another Kill Devil, this time a 'mainlander' from Guatemala in central America. This one's reportedly from the Darsa distillery. For many, Guatemalan rum begins and ends with the 'Ron Zacapa' and lesser known, 'Ron Botran' range - both coming out of the same distillery or group: 'Industries Licoreras de Guatemala' (Plantation have also offered the odd bottling). Darsa is a seperate entity, but from the little information available, it appears to be a larger-scaled industrial level operation. Regardless, there's not a lot of Guatemalan rum produced, so this is a bit of an oddity. Distilled July 2007 bottled by Hunter Laing & Co. for the Kill Devil series from an outturn of 322 bottles. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
