Tasting note: Deep copper. Densely packed bouquet is redolent of sticky date pudding, vanilla wafer, maple syrup and nougat chocolate. Silky, elegant and deftly balanced with the sweetness in check and luxurious flavours of dates, sponge cake, nougat and vanilla. Medium long. A rich and skilfully poised Grandfather rum for quiet sipping. 40% Alc./Vol.
