Produced by Sengetsu Shuzo in Kumamoto Prefecture, Koi Shisou is a rice shochu-based liqueur infused with premium red shiso from Kyushu. Free from additives or colouring agents, its vivid crimson hue and bright, herbaceous character come naturally from the shiso itself. With a gentle sweetness and refreshing lift, it’s a distinctive, expressive liqueur.

Tasting Note: Blushing and vibrant pink in the glass, this liqueur makes a bold statement. The nose is complex, with cherries and strawberries harmonizing with sweet-savory red bean soup notes, while layers of watermelon skin and a faint medicinal touch element add intrigue. The palate focuses on bright, sweet red fruits—plums, watermelon, and strawberry—all lively and expressive. Despite the sweetness, it's refreshingly light and never cloying. A joyful liqueur, perfect over ice on its own, or topped with soda water.
