Loch's first ever heavy peated malt sees maturation in PX sherry casks. The aroma opens with smokey fruit cake, earthy peat and hints of lanolin and follows through in a full bodied, medium dry dram with dried fruits, dark chocolate, charry tannins and again, earthy, lanolin-laced phenols repeating at the finish. Though not as intense, there's a resemblance to Octomore or perhaps Ledaig in its more farmyardy moments. Arguably Loch's most impressive to date! 41% Alc./Vol.
