Manly Spirits Coastal Stone Pinot Noir Cask Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

Manly spirits employ first-fill Tasmanian Pinot Noir casks with a medium toast to give added complexity to this whisky. Tasmanian coopers broke the casks down into a 100L format. Spiced plum and dried cranberry feature in the dry, cocoa-laced aromas, following through in an easy-going malt with some attractive strawberry ice-cream and chocolate moments through the middle stages. The finish is medium long, but thins out in the aftertaste. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the producers... NOSE: Cacao and ripe oranges with hints of macadamia and walnut. PALATE : A light front palate with a subtly soaked brandy apple coming forward. These sweet fruits give way to rich, velvety dark chocolate and toffee characters. FINISH: A soft, floral, and nutty finish, fading with roasted coffee beans.
