Marchand & Burch Cremant de Bourgogne Methode Traditionelle Brut Blanc

Produced from a blend of 60% Chardonnay, 20% Gamay, 10% Pinot Noir and 10% Aligote. A frothy white mousse sits over a straw coloured base with pale gold edgings. Very fine and profuse bead. An inviting nose of pear, baked bread and yeast lees shows good richness with citrus and toast notes also evident. Quite creamy and full in the mouth, the palate has a rich flavour profile of yeasty baked bread, citrusy apple and pear fruit with undertones of toast. Good refreshing acidity on the finish with a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
