Other reviews... Mijenta Tequila is a tequila brand which launched in the US in August 2020. It is made by maestra tequilera Ana Maria Romero from ripe agaves harvested in the Highlands of Jalisco. Notably, all the paper-related products for the bottle are made from agave waste. Mijenta is inspired from "mi gente" which means "my people." The nose gets started with grapefruit peel and pith, plenty of vegetal and grassy notes, lemon juice, and cotton candy. The palate offers grilled pineapples, vanilla, and waxy honey, moving into a finish with toffee, black pepper, a bowl of freshly made oleo saccharum with citrus peels and sugar, and moderate minerality.
