Mitchelton The Bend Sparkling Shiraz

Pours with a foamy purple tinged mousse that holds well over a dark red black base that has a very fine bead flowing through it. Heady blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas morph into toasty vanilla, choc mint, earth and spice. Rich and creamy in its feel, the palate has ripe dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits married to toasty vanillin oak and subtle spicy earth nuances. Finishes dry with some focused acidity and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
