Delamotte Brut Champagne
Pours well with an excellent white frothy mousse that has good hold. Pale straw gold base wine colour with a very profuse fine bead. The nose displays a rich aromatic profile of baked bread and yeast lees characters followed by some light toast and citrus. Elegant and refined on entry the palate features flavours of citrus and brioche over some toast and lees characters. Clean crisp dry finish. Aftertaste of brioche, almond , toast and yeast lees.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc 12%
Other Reviews....
Wafting from the glass with notes of citrus oil, toasted nuts, warm biscuits and crisp orchard fruit, the latest release of Delamotte's NV Brut is medium-bodied, round and fleshy, with ripe acids, a generous core of fruit and a nicely defined finish. It's based on the 2015 vintage, complemented by 10% reserve wines from 2014 and 2013.

Quite impressive richness and gently toasty aromas on the nose here with almond, savory and sweet, bready autolysis notes. The palate has a fresh, succulent and smooth feel with soft, citrusy fruit flesh. Holds long. Drink now.
