N/V Pirie Brut

A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir this Tassie sparkling pours well opening with a good creamy white mousse that shows good hold. Very pale straw base wine colour with exceptionally fine and very persistent bead. The nose shows very good intensity with baked bread and yeast lees the dominate scents followed by some pear and citrus. Vibrant and fresh with flavours of baked bread, yeast lees and toast with some delicate pear also present. Clean dry finish with a moderately creamy mouthfeel. Medium to long baked bread, yeast lees and light toast aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
