Tasting note: Bottled from a Sherry butt. Brilliant gold. Vapoury spirit yields suggestions of white chocolate as well as sour dough, grain and vaguely grassy notes. 3-4 minutes in the glass draws out fruity / semi ripe pear, later sweetening to toffee apple. A brawny, broad-shouldered style with an oily, semi sweet malt-focus and plenty of spicy kick. Aftertaste of vanilla, chocolate and warming spirit.
