North Star Invergordon 31 Year Old Cask Strength Single Grain Scotch Whisky (700ml)

For a short while, there was a malt whisky distillery in the same complex as Invergordon (est. 1960), but these days the plant produces top quality single grain. Now a part of Whyte & Mackay, the team at North Star have sourced this all-natural expression, limited to just 190 bottles. Distilled in December 1987 and bottled from a refill barrel with zero chill filtration.

Notes from the bottler... Nose: White chocolate buttons and Airfix glue. Palate: Cream of tartar and wine gums. Finish: A ginger bread house with a frosted roof. 63.2% Alc./Vol.
