A broad Champagne made from 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier. 25% of the base wines consists of Reserve wines which have been matured for a minimum 3 years. The house was founded in 1899 by Louis Eugene Pannier in Dizy, Epennay, however in 1937 due to an expansion of sales, the company moved to Chateau – Thierry in order to utilise the underground cellars. In 1974 a group of Champagne grape growers purchased the house and spent the ‘80’s and ‘90’s rejuvenating the operations. The Champagne has an impressive creamy mousse. Fine grained bead, with very good persistence. The base wine indicates some ageing, with pale gold/straw colour. Aroma of biscuit and yeast lees. Creamy texture with good yeast autolysis character. Aftertaste of biscuit, yeast lees and cashew.
