Patron Cask Collection Sherry Cask Aged Anejo Tequila (750ml)

Launched in early 2017, Patrón's Sherry cask-matured Tequila was limited to just 8,000 bottles as a Duty Free exclusive. It takes a leaf out of the Scotch Whisky Industry, departing from the traditional x Bourbon barrels that are more commonly used to mature tequila.

“Sherry casks exhibit an elegant flavour and aroma of pecans, which marry beautifully with the taste of agave,” says Francisco Alcaraz, Patrón’s master distiller, who has been experimenting with Sherry casks for several years.

The new Tequila spent more than 24 months in the x Oloroso Sherry barrels which have bestowed it with a deep amber colour as well as flavours of dried fruit, pecans, light-toasted oak, caramel and light vanilla mingling with familiar agave notes. 40% Alc./Vol.
