Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Brut Champagne
A buoyant mousse slowly dissipates to reveal a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold edges. The fine bead showing excellent persistence. Citrusy chalk tinged aromas are complemented by yeast lees, subtle red apple and baked bread. Nicely meshed flavours of pear, citrus and baked bread mix with yeast lees and delicate quince characters. Vivid acidity lends a refreshing feel to the mouth watering conclusion.
