Stemming from the fusion of two distinguished rum legacies, Black Cask is based on pot and column still rums sourced from Barbados and Venezuela. After a period maturing in the tropics they embark on another journey, finished in toasted French oak barrels in the South-West of France. This secondary maturation bestows subtle smoky undertones harmonizing with the rum's ripe fruit and sweet spice character.
