Now bottled at 40% rather than 42%, this deeply coloured XO retains an almost tropical edge to the nose, with white peach, nectarine and rancio following in a silky, butter-textured and beautifully poised Grande Champagne cognac - honey, nectarine and cantaloupe flavours harmonise with a deft touch of sandalwood and cigar box at the finish. Beautifully integrated and at twenty five years old, more than doubles the XO minimum while remaining fruity and deliciously fresh. Ugni-blanc and Folle blanche. 40% Alc./Vol.
