1989 Rest & Be Thankful Bunnahabhain 26 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Another excellent indie bottling of Bunnah' - and at a reasonable price. Like the other Rest & Be Thankfuls, this is non-chill filtered and colouring free. The tastings for the latest releases were limited to 20ml samples - just enough to paint the picture and recommend.

Tasting note: Matured in a Bourbon barrel. Pale gold. Creamy aromas of walnut-honey yoghurt, peach and dustings of cocoa. Pure and poised - this feels like 40% with delicious, medium dry biscuity malt and subtle orchard fruit flavours and an ethereal, tangy, fresh finish. 49.9% Alc./Vol. 242 bottles released.
