Royal Combier Grande Liqueur (700ml)

Created in 1860 by Jean-Baptiste Combier while serving time in prison in the French village of Nantes, this harmonious blend of Original Combier, V.S.O.P. cognac and Elixir Combier (one of the most famous of all French hygienic liqueurs), includes ingredients such as aloe, nutmeg, myrrh, cardamom, cinnamon and saffron. The result is an exotic and complex liqueur best enjoyed cold or in classic and modern cocktails as an orange liqueur substitute where added spice is desirable.

Tasting note: Brilliant old gold, dazzles in the glass. Nosing finds attractive aromas of orange spice cake, nutmeg and cinnamon. A viscous and mouthfilling liqueur with delicately tart flavours of orange zest, developing sugars with a rush of warming baking spices (ginger / cinnamon). Fades with subtle peel / pith freshness, balancing the aftertaste. Try it on its own or when you’re after a triple sec with extra zing. 38% Alc./Vol.
