Seppelt Fleur de Lys

Produced from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir this sparkling pours with a good white creamy mousse to reveal a pale straw base wine colour that has a very fine and profuse bead. The nose displays pear and citrus aromas followed by some lightly baked bread and yeast lees. Light and refreshing the palate features pear and citrus flavours over some light mineral. A little too simple. Crisp acid finish with a moderate aftertaste of pear, citrus and mineral.
Drink over next 2-3 years.
