Serego Alighieri Grappa di Amarone (500ml)

Made on the Possessioni dei Conti Serego Alighieri estate in Valpolicella Classica and distilled in small steam heated alembics from the same semi-dried grapes that were used to make their single-vineyard signature Amarone, Vaio Amarone. Ideal as an after-dinner drink, but on its own it can accompany dry desserts, dried fruit and chocolate. Also used in cake-making.

Tasting note: Clear showing moderate viscosity. Impressive bouquet offers scents of fruit bread, green olive and dried apricot with aeration adding hints of wax, white pepper and salted rice cracker; Follows through with a mildly oily yet vibrant, fruit bread profile and a juicy raisin, white chocolate and soft spice finish. Excellent length. Beautifully rounded. Delicious grappa. 40% Alc./Vol.
