This takes its name from the farm where the two-row barely was sourced - Montfort District Lot 141. The barley wasn't malted (aka green malt) hence, this is technically a 'single grain', rather than a single malt. Maturation took place in American oak.
Awarded 'Best Canadian Grain' at the World Whisky Awards 2018. Tasting note: Brilliant gold. Slightly rum-like with creamy and semi-sweet aromas suggesting straw / dried grass, followed by hints of wax and peachy fruit. Likewise on the palate, where the delicate stone fruit notes repeat, finishing vanilla-heavy, oily, medium long with oaky sweetness lingering through the aftertaste. 1400 bottles. Non chill filtered. 46% Alc./Vol.
