Made from a blend of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir. A very frothy mousse sits over a pale straw coloured base that’s finely threaded by a very persistent stream of tiny bubbles. Rich yet refined, the nose offers up yeasty baked bread, pear and citrus aromas with hints of honeyed cashew and light biscuit also present. The finely detailed palate features baked bread and yeast lees flavours over citrus and biscuity characters with a dry chalk tinged finish. There’s good tension on the racy, tightly knit aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
