Tamdhu's latest annual limited edition comes fully matured in a mixture of European and American ex-oloroso Sherry casks. Says Master Distiller, Sandy McIntyre, it evokes ‘spiced currant and orange zest’ with ‘pineapple and fennel’ on the nose and delivers ‘juicy apricot and vibrant raspberry’ notes on the palate. 24,000 bottles are available worldwide. Comes beautifully presented in Tamdhu's updated packaging. 46% Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... Molasses, orange peel, and prickly oak spices on the nose; herbal, oily green notes develop. Finally, more overt sherry. The palate is supple, with sweet sherry and icing sugar notes, plus Turkish Delight, fruitcake, and toffee. Ultimately, cinnamon and dark chocolate. Cloves, more dark chocolate, and mouth-drying oak in the long finish.
