The Gospel Projects Tawny Cask Finish Straight Rye Whiskey (700ml)

For this special Project Release, The Gospel chose a barrel sourced from a family operated winery in the Barossa – 'Dutschke Wines'. The cask was used to age nine year old Tawny Fortified Wine and was delivered to the distillery fresh, without re-coopering. The cask was filled with mature rye and allowed to mellow for a further four months. The end result is a deliciously well-balanced whiskey that combines the spice of the rye with the rich sweetness of the fortified wine. Just in time for Christmas! Limited to 558 bottles.
