Inspired by the elegance of Japanese whisky and a very special kind of wood, Lark's Mizunara Batch 002 is a genuinely rare gem with just 228 bottles available worldwide. Its exclusivity will make it a sought-after addition for both collectors and Lark enthusiasts. Mizunara oak is one of the rarest in the world, scarcer than European and American oak, notoriously expensive, and to top it off, the trees are harvested at around 200 years old (compared to around 75 for American/European oak). For drinkers the obvious question is "Does Mizunara oak give a distinctive flavour to whisky?" The consensus is that it tends to offer a more definite coconut aroma. Other sources suggest the wood contributes attractive sandalwood notes.  At 46% ABV, Lark's Mizunara Batch 002 promises a smooth yet robust tasting experience, beautifully presented to boot.
