The Macallan Fine Oak 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (1750ml)

The "Fine Oak" label represents a completely new range of expressions which have been matured in carefully selected European and American oak casks which have previously held Sherry or Bourbon. As always with The Macallan, the colour is completely natural and is derived solely from the interaction of spirit and wood. Of the new selection, John Hansell of 'Malt Advocate Magazine' commented: 'The Fine Oak range is...more approachable, and has the potential to be embraced by a greater percentage of whisky drinkers....cutting back on the sherry reveals more of the Macallan spirit, which is first-class.' Distilled at the Macallan distillery in Speyside, this Single Malt is carefully matured for a minimum of 12 years. The unique combination of Bourbon and Sherry oak casks produces a particularly smooth, delicate and light whisky.
