The Macallan Fine Oak 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) - Old Bottling
Note: Extensive cellar bloom on both bottle and box. Actual product pictured.
Other reviews... Medium amber color. Rich brown butter, toffee, dried berry, and charred nut aromas with a touch of shellac. A soft, round entry leads to a smooth dryish medium-to full-bodied palate with sweet toffee, roasted nuts, anise, and spice flavors. Finishes with with long woody fade of toffee, mineral water, and brown spices. An earthy, mature style meant for long contemplative sipping. 43% Alc./Vol. International Review of Spirits Award: Gold Medal

'An astounding mixture of age and beauty!' 92 points - Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2008
Nose: Keeps to itself initially, then fudge and candyfloss notes prevail, with fresh floor polish. Palate: Austere, quite dry for an instant, then lots of life bursts though. Bubble gum, lemon, brittle toffee. Finish: Lengthy and sophisticated. Less bourbon influence and fewer negative wood factors here. Comment: I was wrong! This is infinitely better. 90 points - whiskymag.com
