The Milk & Honey Distillery Apex Peated STR Cask Cask Strength Single Malt Israeli Whisky (700ml)

Part of the premium 'Apex' series, this edition was matured in ex-red wine casks that had been Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred and filled with the distillery's peated new make spirit. The now familiar STR technique was developed by the late Dr. Jim Swan, consultant and friend to the distillery. The process enables the casks to impart rich flavours.

Notes from the producers... AROMA: Sea breeze, gentle saltiness, stroke of varnish, gingerbread rich in cloves and allspice, hints of freshly cut hay. PALATE: French vanilla cream, crushed white peppercorns, sweet mint, toasted dry leaves. FINISH: Cinnamon, roasted chestnuts, buttery popcorn. Non chilled filtered. 58.9% alc/vol
