Us Heit Distillery Frysk Hynder Single Malt Whisky (700ml)

Located in Bolsward, in the Netherlands, is the Us Heit Distillery. Beer brewer, Aart van der Linden, started distilling in 2002 and now employs malted barley from the distillery's own maltings. The wort is the same as the one used for his beer, minus the hops. Double distillation is used after which the spirit is matured in casks that previously held sherry, wine or brandy.

The manufacturing process is completed with handwritten labels. This bottling was matured in a red wine cask, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2010.
