This curious blend of 50% Benrinnes and 50% Glasgow single malts has a dry, nutty sherry influence of a kind rarely encountered nowadays; Vaguely sulphury notes, like pencil eraser or matchbox are followed in a warm, grassy profile including traces of walnuts, ginger biscuits and sulphur. Tasted blind you might pick it as young Auchroisk. A somewhat old fashioned composition that nevertheless grows on you. 282 bottles from a butt. 57.1% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
