Waubs Harbour Kelp Revival Limited Edition Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

Made in support of the ambitious endeavour to regenerate the nearly-extinct Giant Kelp forests throughout Tasmania, including an exciting trial site just a stone’s throw from our distillery. Matured in Apera Sherry casks, finished in a rare 70 year old Tawny Port cask and married with a smidge of coastal peated whisky (for a nutty, earthiness not smokiness) that’s balanced, with a unique complexity. Anticipate notes of sweet juicy fruits and rich chocolate coated sultana with a beautifully complex nutty overlay. Adds one taster, "At 45.7% ABV you don’t get any alcohol burn, but rather a smooth and very tasty tongue covering whisky that stretches out around your mouth thanks to that salty element and big port soaked sultanas. Really enjoyed this whisky and can’t wait to get my hands on a bottle. Waubs Harbour Whisky has another winner on their hands with this one."
