Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select 2019 Holiday Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (1000ml)

In the tradition of earlier releases, Woodford Reserve's Limited Edition for 2019 arrives late for Australian fans. Made from a classic mash of corn, rye and malted barley, the liquid inside is aged at least six years before being bottled at a hearty 90.4 proof in a one litre bottle. Like its predecessors, artwork on the front label depicts the distillery in Winter. The painting is titled "Warm Welcome" and is by Suzanne Enrique Dougherty of the Woodford Reserve Visitor's Center. A nice bottle to add to your collection or to enjoy by the fire alongside good company.

Notes from the producers... Nose: Rich aromas of gingerbread, caramel and chocolate. Taste: Full-bodied with a nice mouthfeel, flavors of caramel, chocolate, cinnamon spice, and a mild smokiness balance with lightly toasted oak and tobacco. Perfect for this holiday season. Finish: Sweet at first, lingering notes of burnt brown sugar and seasoned oak make for a nice aftertaste. Compliments all around.
